Sexualized Violence
Sexualized violence is unacceptable. Everyone at UVic has the right to live, learn, work and play in an environment free from sexualized violence. This means ensuring that both respect and consent inform all our relationships on campus, including with friends, peers, colleagues, team members, and service providers.
If you wish to make a disclosure, contact the Sexualized Violence Resource Office at the Equity and Human Rights Office (EQHR). If you need emergency support, please call 9-1-1.
If you are or may be engaged in a University process involving Sexualized violence, the Office of the Ombudsperson can offer support and advice to you. If you have questions about the governing policy (GV0245), your rights, or the process, please do not hesitate to contact the Ombudsperson.
